Kitten Information

All Kasabrook kittens are born and raised in the home to help them become socialised and accustomed to the day to day noises of a home. Kasabrook kittens are registered with NZ Cat Fancy (NZCF) - will come with a kitten pack and a personalised information/care pamphlet (a summary of this is generally emailed to you a week before your new baby arrives). There will also be available for you to claim a 2kg bag of Royal Canin Kitten biscuits. Instructions on how to claim this bag directly from Royal Canin will be included in the kitten pack. I will supply a small 400gm bag of Royal Canin kitten biscuits at the time you collect your baby, this will allow you time to claim your free bag.  A Transfer Certificate (this states you as the new owner) and a NZCF Pedigree Certificate (this gives you the kitten's 4 Generation lineage) will be sent to you by NZCF once you have paid and collected your kitten - these documents are for your records and you do not need to do anything further with them. 

All kittens are regularly wormed from 4 weeks of age until they go to their new homes and will be flea treated before leaving.

Price: $1800 (pet kitten) - this price includes: desexing, microchipping and two vaccinations - kittens will be ready to leave Kasabrook around the age of 14-16 weeks old (depending on desexing) and will be vet checked prior to leaving, usually when they are desexed.

Once you have decided on the kitten you want, you will need to pay a $600 deposit to reserve that kitten - a kitten is not secured until the deposit is paid. The deposit is refundable if there is a genuine reason for not following through on the purchase, but not if you just change your mind. Payment in full must be made at least a week before the kitten leaves Kasabrook.

References:

"on hold" - kitten has been picked - (kitten is not secured until deposit is paid)

"reserved" - deposit has been paid - (kitten is secured)

"sold" - full payment has been made

Kittens can be flown around NZ via Air NZ if you are unable to pick up - this can be arranged via a "Pet Travel" Agency.  You will need to supply an "airline approved" cat cage (at your cost) - some Agencies will "hire" a cage if you cannot supply one.  Flying within North Island approx: $320 - South Island approx: $480 - please note that these prices are "approximate only" and may vary, depending on the Travel Agent used.

There is also "Pet Bus" who will transport your kitten around NZ in a specifically designed "bus" for transporting pets - they run this service once a month and I have had a number of new pet owners use this service with great feedback.

If I don’t have what you are looking for, I may be able to direct you to other Registered Breeders that do or I can place you on my "contacts" list and let you know once I have babies available. I will always contact those on my list before I place any kittens on my website.
